Thank Him

Postby Deborah Lynne on Sat Mar 18, 2006 7:48 pm

Thank Him

May God grant you peace and love
Throughout this life you live
May He always walk beside you
And teach you how to give

May you always find a reason
To smile each and every day
May you notice all the miracles
That He performs along the way

The kiss of wind against your face
The sky of blue above you
Each tender blade of grass so green
The many flowers of every hue

The birth of a tiny insect
The birdsong in the air
All are miracles that He performs
With love and tender care

There are countless other blessings
That He does for us each day
May you take the time to notice them
And thank Him when you pray

Deb, this is one of the most beautiful prayer poems I have read. Like Carol says, every word, a word of praise to God. Soooooooooooooo beautiful and inspiring. Love it my sweet friend.

Expressively elegant, as always, ma'am. Finding the words to fit an inspiration is, betimes, an oddly difficult task . . . but they come to you in their own time and way, in the end.

I, too, have missed you and EVERYONE at NetHugs; there's so much to catch up on! And my still-manic daily labors leave me little time for my own composition. Which is going slowly, as I expected; but still, it is progressing. I've literal MOUNTAINS of material to sift through, in search of all the pertinent facts, and more importantly, TRUTH. And believe me, there are plethoras of "disinformation" camouflaging the truth! Even the many various news medias embellish their articles with, to put it mildly, becoming fiction---to perhaps boost their ratings. Yet I am slowly penetrating the smoke-screen, as I believe. But enough of this maundering. GREAT VERSE, my friend!

Thanks again, my friend. If there's anything I can do to help, you've only to ask!

I shall, dear lady! Just send me notice of ANYTHING of the efforts to restrict Christmas which come to your attention. It is as I first thought: this trend is a major side-effect of the "Political Correctness" beast, though the ramifications are vastly more far-reaching than I've yet comprehended. And it is becoming MORE than a bit scary!!!

I'll be sure to send anything I find your way, Roy. Can't wait to read the final results, scary, though they may be!
