Friendship

Postby DeaconSteve on Fri Nov 18, 2005 3:44 pm

Friendship -
just to know that you are there -
makes my heart smile.
Feeling your constant presence -
and love all the while.
Friendship -
You make me feel so special -
in so many different ways.
But just being close to me -
and in my heart each day.
Friendship -
I thank God for the gift of you -
every time I say a prayer.
Because when I feel alone -
I know that you are near.
Friendship -
My dear friend, have a great day!

Hey, I'm just a novice at this poetry thing. Thank you all so much for your kind and inspiring words. Earlier today, as I was about to log off, thinking of all of you, and special you are to me, this just popped up. I usually have to think hard to come up with a poem, pray about it, and think some more. But, with you guys, it comes so much easier. That's because what you write is inspiring and spreads love like a new born baby. God bless you all!

Thank you Webmaster. I'm at a loss for words. Can you believe that? Me at a loss for words. Actually, I'm just stunned. Thank you so much, and especially my NetHug friends. They are the greatest in the world. I love you all so much, and now I'm crying, gotta go . . . . men get emotional too, you know!

Thanks again. I'm still in shock. I just showed it to Joyce. I'm going to send it to my best friend, Joe Bone. He'll love it. He needs it. God bless all of you.
